LtCol. Bruce Bright, a retired Marine Corps aviator, is the Founder and Chief Energy Officer (CEO) of On Target Leading.

Earning his wings in 1988, he has over 3000 flight hours with 2850 in the F/A-18 and served in two combat tours in the Middle East.  His personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Medal with one strike/flight award, the Joint Commendation Medal, five Navy Commendation Medals, one with the Combat Distinguishing Device, and the Aerial Achievement Medal.

Bruce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master of Science degree in Strategic Studies from the Air War College. He earned a CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) while working as the Director of Business Development for The Sanders Trust.  In addition, Bruce has become a Certified Professional Coach, is a member of the International Coaching Federation and the National Speakers Bureau. He is also a licensed commercial pilot.

In 2010, Bruce founded On Target Leading and the Bright Consulting Group, LLC. Bruce has a strong desire to help and encourage people be successful leaders using the experiences and lessons he has learned in business, in the service, and in life. He founded On Target Leading with the goal of motivating and helping others through speeches, seminars and coaching.
